Co-Founder & CEO
Anderson Capelao brings experience from the Parisian digital consulting sector, where he collaborated with financial institutions and gained expertise in business strategy, client development, and data-driven services. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business from IESEG School of Management and is currently pursuing a Master's in Banking and Finance at King's College London. Combining a background in finance, technology, and entrepreneurship, he focuses on building solutions that help companies transform their financial data into strategic insights and sustainable growth.
Erick Gomes
Co-Founder & COO
Erick Sayenne De Carvalho Gomes holds a Bachelor's from ESSCA School of Management in Paris and is completing an MSc in Banking and Finance at King's College London. Before Compass, he gained commercial experience at MESSIKA Paris, working across client relationships and operational delivery in a high-standard environment. At Compass, he leads client development and operational strategy, built around a conviction he holds deeply: that Angolan and African companies have the potential to grow far beyond their current scale, and that the right tools and the right partners can make that happen.
José João
Co-Founder & CFO
José João brings a strong analytical background in finance and strategic management to the Compass team. Currently pursuing a Master's in Finance at Skema Business School, he has developed a sharp expertise in market analysis, corporate finance, and risk management. His professional journey includes refining revenue forecasts and optimizing profitability for complex client portfolios, as well as driving growth through data-driven consumer trend analysis. He is committed to transforming financial data into actionable insights that support the development of resilient infrastructures and long-term ESG value.
Agostinho Fragoso
Co-Founder & CTO
Agostinho Fragoso holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Software Engineering and serves as Chief Technology Officer at Compass. His dual expertise across hardware and software systems allows him to design robust, end-to-end technical solutions tailored to real business needs. At Compass, he leads the development of the platforms that power the company's financial intelligence services, driven by a strong conviction that African markets have the infrastructure potential to compete on a global scale — and that the right technology can make that a reality.
